UDS Interprinting & Packaging

Today is my first day of internship at one another company named UDS Interprinting & Packaging. My assignment at this place is to build a website and create tutorials that will help their customer prepare files before making order with the company. This printing company never have a website before so they wanted me to help them setup one. The main purpose of the website is to give information for their customer the type of work they do as a printing company.

My plan in building this website is to use the latest version of RapidWeaver, which currently is version 4.0. The program allow me to create and maintain the website easily, it's also allow me to publish the site within its software without addition FTP program. Though this program is new for me but they have many tutorials and documents for users like myself to refer to.

The challenge in building this website is to have two languages, Thai and English, that we reach wide range of costumers.

Job Orientation

July 1st was my first day of internship at the LDS Service Center Thailand. An organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day that operate services to the member of the church in Thailand and the near by country. On my first week, I received an orientation about the organization. I had an opportunity to visits with all the key personnel of every departments. All departments includes, Physical Facilities Management, Translation, Materials Management, Membership and Statistical Record, Distribution Center, Technical Support, and Architecture and Engineering. These departments work together under the direction of the Headquater Office based in Salt Lake City, Utah, U.S.A.

On the first week, I had a chance to experience a little bit of work in each departments to learn and understand the real kind of work and assignment they do on a daily basis. This really help me feel what it's like working in different departments.
